nice pretty wedding/love songs that are danceable:
- "this must be the place (naive melody)" by the talking heads
- "a nightingale sang in berkeley square" by brian setzer orchestra
great party songs that make everybody want to dance:
- "fantastic voyage" by lakeside
- "got to give it up" by marvin gaye
and there must be some group/line dancing! "cha cha slide" and "cupid shuffle" are good because the songs talk you through the dance so everybody can join in even if they don't know it. the "electric slide" is fun too but the song itself doesn't really talk you through the dance - it can be danced to any song with the right groove if someone leads it (and you just might catch me doing that!).

uh, what else but FUNK so we can pretend we're having a halloween party at the Ecohouse like the old days. =)
